Athens does not go to bed early. Restaurants seat their last tables at midnight, the bars in Psyrri and Gazi are at their busiest at two in the morning, and a meaningful share of the bookings we take are made after most cities have gone quiet. This page is about that part of the night: what is genuinely available, how long things actually take when the roads are empty, and what it costs.

It is written for adults arranging a legal booking with another adult.

The short summary, if you want it before the detail: yes, we book through the night; availability is good until about two and narrows after that; the roads are dramatically faster than during the day, which makes the outer districts far more practical than they are at seven in the evening; and there is a small flat supplement for bookings that start between midnight and six. Everything below expands on those four points.

Booking a companion after midnight in Athens

What counts as late night

For our purposes, late night starts at midnight and runs to about six in the morning. A late-night supplement applies within that window. It is a small, flat, published figure, not a multiplier, and it exists because working those hours is different from working an evening shift.

Availability after 2am

Availability narrows as the night goes on, but it does not disappear. Between midnight and two, the choice is close to what it is at ten in the evening. Between two and four it narrows to companions who work late by preference. After four it depends heavily on the night and the day of the week. We will tell you honestly what is available rather than take a booking we cannot fill well.

How quickly we can confirm

Faster than during the evening, generally. Fewer bookings are in progress at three in the morning, so confirmation usually takes minutes rather than a back-and-forth.

Where late-night bookings happen

Hotels in the centre

The central hotel belt from Makrygianni through Koukaki to Syngrou is the most common late-night venue, and it is the easiest. Night reception is used to guests coming in at all hours and pays no attention.

Psyrri, Gazi and Monastiraki

The nightlife districts generate a lot of late bookings for the obvious reason. Access is the one complication: several streets in Psyrri and Monastiraki are pedestrianised or blocked by outdoor seating after dark, so tell us where a vehicle can actually stop.

The southern coast after hours

Glyfada, Voula and the coastal clubs run late in summer, and the coast road at three in the morning is empty, which makes the journey much quicker than in daytime — often twenty-five minutes rather than forty-five.

Piraeus

Piraeus never fully stops because the ferries do not. Late bookings there are routine and the roads that are impossible at six in the evening are clear at two in the morning.

Timing and travel after midnight

Traffic is not the problem after 1am

This is the good news about late bookings. The journeys that take fifty minutes at seven in the evening take twenty-five at two in the morning. Kifisias Avenue, the coast road and the route to Piraeus are all genuinely fast once the city empties.

Realistic arrival windows

Central Athens, fifteen to twenty-five minutes. Northern suburbs, twenty-five to thirty-five. Southern coast, twenty-five to thirty-five. Piraeus, twenty-five to thirty-five. The airport remains forty to fifty because the distance is simply long.

Why the last booking of the night is different

If you are booking at four in the morning, you are very likely the last booking of that companion’s night. That makes extensions easier to arrange, because there is nothing scheduled afterwards. It also means we would rather agree the likely duration at the start than negotiate it at five.

Late-night rates

Standard hourly rate

The companion’s published rate applies as normal, from around 120 to 150 euro per hour.

Late-night supplement

A flat supplement applies to bookings starting between midnight and six. It is quoted when you book, alongside any travel supplement for your district.

Until-morning bookings

A booking that runs from the small hours until morning is priced as a single overnight figure rather than by the hour, and it is better value than four consecutive hourly bookings. Ask for it explicitly when you book.

Discretion in the small hours

Quiet arrival at a hotel

Late-night arrivals are the least conspicuous of the whole day. The lobby is empty, the lift is empty, and the corridor is silent. The only thing to be careful about is noise, because a quiet hotel carries sound between rooms in a way a busy one does not.

Night reception

Night staff in Athens hotels have seen everything and are professionally uninterested. You do not need to explain anything to anyone.

Noise in a quiet building

This is the one genuine consideration that is worse at night than during the evening. A hotel at two in the morning is silent, and sound carries between rooms in a way it does not at nine when televisions are on and people are moving about. It is worth a moment’s thought.

Booking late when you have been drinking

A large share of late-night bookings are made after an evening out, and there are a couple of practical things worth saying about that.

Do not drive

If you have been out and you are considering an incall, take a taxi rather than driving to it. Greek drink-driving enforcement is active late at night, particularly around the nightlife districts, and an outcall to where you already are costs less than the alternative in every sense.

Be clear when you book

Message us with the specifics — hotel, room, time, duration — rather than a general enquiry. Late-night messages that are vague take three times as long to resolve, and at three in the morning that matters.

Have the cash ready

Payment is cash at the start. Cash machines in central Athens do run empty on Friday and Saturday nights, so draw it before you go out rather than at two in the morning when it becomes a problem.

Availability through the week

Weeknights

Monday to Thursday after midnight is the quietest period of our week and the easiest time to book at short notice with a real choice of companion.

Friday and Saturday

The busiest. Availability after two in the morning tightens noticeably, particularly in the centre. If you know you will want a late booking on a Saturday, arranging it earlier in the evening is worth doing.

Sundays and public holidays

Quieter than Saturdays and comparable to a weeknight. Availability is generally good.

Common questions

How late can I book?

We take bookings around the clock. Availability narrows after about four in the morning but does not vanish. Message us and we will tell you what is genuinely free rather than guess.

Is there a late-night surcharge?

Yes, a flat supplement for bookings starting between midnight and six in the morning. It is quoted upfront alongside any travel supplement.

How fast can someone arrive at 3am?

In central Athens, fifteen to twenty-five minutes. Outside the centre, twenty-five to thirty-five. The empty roads make late-night arrivals the most predictable of the whole day.

Do you take same-night bookings?

Yes. Most late-night bookings are made the same night, often within the hour. See also our same day Athens booking page.

Can I book until the morning?

Yes. An until-morning booking is priced as an overnight rather than hourly, and it is better value than stacking hours. Ask for it when you book.

Which areas do you cover after midnight?

The full service area: central Athens, the northern suburbs, the southern coast, the western suburbs, Piraeus and the airport. Travel supplements are the same as during the day; the journeys are simply faster.

Can I extend a late booking?

Usually yes, and more easily than at other times, because there is generally nothing scheduled afterwards. Ask early rather than in the last ten minutes.

Is incall available late at night?

Yes, subject to which companions are working. It is often the fastest option at three in the morning because there is no travel on our side at all.

Late bookings: the short version

The roads are on your side

Everything is faster after one in the morning. Journeys that take fifty minutes in the evening take twenty-five, which makes the outer districts far more practical late than early.

Availability narrows, it does not vanish

Midnight to two is close to evening availability. Two to four narrows. After four it depends on the night. We will tell you what is genuinely free.

There is a flat supplement

Small, published, and quoted upfront alongside any travel supplement. It is not a multiplier.

Ask about until-morning

If the booking is likely to run long, an overnight price beats stacking hourly bookings. Raise it at the start rather than at five.
