An outcall is the most common way a booking happens in Athens, and a hotel room is the most common place it happens. Despite that, almost nobody explains the mechanics: how long it really takes to cross the city, what you are asked for, what happens at the door, when money changes hands. This page does. It is written for adults arranging a legal booking with another adult, and it assumes you would rather know exactly what to expect than be pleasantly surprised.

What an Athens outcall booking involves

Outcall in one sentence

An outcall means the companion travels to you. You provide the location, we provide the arrival window, and the booking takes place wherever you are staying.

Who travels to whom

This is the whole difference between an outcall and an incall. On an incall you travel to a private apartment we arrange. On an outcall the travel is ours. The practical consequence is that an outcall costs slightly more, because travel time is real time, and that it is far more convenient if you already have a room.

Why hotels are the most common outcall venue

Because they are private, because you are already paying for them, and because a hotel corridor is the most anonymous place in any city. A hotel also removes the two things that complicate a private residence: neighbours who know you, and a building entrance that is not designed for discretion.

Booking to your hotel, step by step

Step 1: room number and hotel name

Message us on WhatsApp, Viber or by phone with the hotel name, the room number and the time you have in mind. If you have not checked in yet, give us the hotel and your expected check-in time. We do not ask for your surname or your booking reference and we will never call the hotel.

Step 2: confirming the arrival window

We confirm which companion is available, the total cost including any travel supplement, and an arrival window. The window is a range, not a promise of an exact minute, because Athens traffic does not permit exact minutes. Once you accept, the booking is fixed.

Step 3: arrival and discretion

The companion arrives dressed as any other hotel guest and goes straight to the lift. If your hotel has key-card lift access, tell us in advance and we will arrange either to meet in the lobby or to have you come down for the lift. You will get a message on arrival at the building, not a call from the lobby phone.

Step 4: payment

Payment is in cash at the start of the booking, in euro. The amount is the amount we quoted. There is nothing to settle at the end and nothing added along the way.

Travel time and coverage across Athens

Athens is bigger than visitors expect and its traffic is worse than they expect. These are honest figures for a normal evening, not best-case figures.

Central Athens

Syntagma, Plaka, Monastiraki, Koukaki, Makrygianni, Neos Kosmos, Pagrati, Exarcheia, Kolonaki. Typical arrival window twenty to thirty minutes. No travel supplement.

Northern suburbs

Marousi, Kifisia, Nea Erythraia, Chalandri, Psychiko, Melissia. Typical window forty to sixty minutes, longer between six and nine in the evening. Travel supplement applies.

Southern coast

Alimos, Glyfada, Voula, Vouliagmeni, Elliniko. Typical window thirty to fifty minutes on the coast road. Travel supplement applies beyond Alimos.

Piraeus and the port

Piraeus, Kastella, Mikrolimano, Freattyda, Nikaia. Typical window thirty-five to fifty minutes. Travel supplement applies.

Rates, duration and what is included

Hourly bookings

The standard unit is one hour and rates start from around 120 to 150 euro depending on the companion. Every profile publishes its own rate. One hour means one hour with the companion, not one hour including travel.

Extended and overnight

Two, three and four-hour bookings are priced at a lower effective hourly rate. Overnight bookings run from late evening to the following morning and are priced as a single figure rather than by the hour. For anything over two hours we recommend booking at least a few hours ahead.

Travel supplements

A flat supplement applies outside the central zone, scaled by distance. It is quoted when you book. There is no fuel charge, no late charge beyond the published late-night supplement, and nothing calculated on arrival.

Discretion at the hotel

Arriving separately

Unless you have asked to meet in the lobby, the companion arrives alone and goes directly up. Two people arriving separately and quietly is the least remarkable thing that happens in a hotel all evening.

Dress and presentation

Companions dress to be unremarkable in the specific hotel they are visiting. What works in a five-star lobby on Syngrou is not what works in a small property in Koukaki, and this is judged case by case.

Leaving quietly

The booking ends and the companion leaves the same way she arrived. There is no lingering in the corridor and no conversation at reception.

When an outcall is the wrong choice

Hotels with strict registration

A small number of budget properties, mostly near Omonia and Victoria, apply strict single-occupancy rules. If you are in a single room in one of those, an incall is the simpler option.

Very short notice

If you want someone within thirty minutes and you are in Kifisia, the honest answer is that geography will not allow it. Either accept a later window or consider an incall.

Apartments and private residences

We do visit private residences, but they need more planning than hotels: entry-phone codes, floor numbers, parking. Tell us in advance rather than on arrival.

What happens if something goes wrong

Most bookings are unremarkable. The ones that are not usually fail in one of four predictable ways, and all four are easier to handle if you know in advance what we will do.

The companion is running late

You will hear from us before the window closes, not after. Athens traffic is genuinely unpredictable and a delay is not a sign that anything has gone wrong; it is a sign that Kifisias Avenue is doing what Kifisias Avenue does. If a delay becomes long enough to matter to you, you can cancel at that point without paying anything.

You need to cancel

Tell us as early as you can. There is no cancellation charge if you cancel before the companion has set off. If she has already travelled across the city, we ask that you cover the travel supplement, which is a fraction of the booking value and reflects an hour of someone’s evening already spent.

The hotel turns out to be difficult

It happens occasionally at small properties with strict occupancy rules. If it does, the practical answer is usually an incall instead, and we will arrange that rather than leave you with nothing. Our Athens incall apartment guide explains how that works.

Something is not as described

Every profile on this site shows the companion who will actually arrive. If that is ever not the case, the booking ends there with nothing owed. We would rather lose a booking than deliver a substitution, because a network of sites is only worth what its worst booking is worth.

Booking channels and response times

WhatsApp, Viber and phone

Messaging is faster than calling, because it lets us check availability while you are typing rather than while you are holding. WhatsApp and Viber both work. A phone call is fine if you would rather speak to someone, and it is the better option if your arrangement is complicated.

What to include in the first message

Hotel name, room number, the time you want, and how long. Four pieces of information in one message removes three rounds of back-and-forth and typically halves the time to confirmation.

Typical response times

Minutes during the evening, slightly longer during the busiest part of a Friday or Saturday night. If you have not heard back within fifteen minutes, message again rather than assuming — messages occasionally do not arrive.

Common questions

How quickly can someone reach my hotel?

In central Athens, typically twenty to thirty minutes from confirmation. Outside the centre, forty to sixty. We give you a window when you book and we tell you if it slips.

Do you charge extra for travel?

Only outside the central zone, and only as a flat supplement quoted upfront. Nothing is added after the fact.

What do I tell reception?

Nothing. You are not required to announce a visitor and raising it creates a conversation that would not otherwise have happened.

Can I extend once the booking has started?

Often yes, subject to what is scheduled afterwards. Ask as early as you can rather than in the last ten minutes, and the extension is charged at the standard hourly rate.

Which hotels do you visit most often?

The central belt from Makrygianni through Koukaki to Syngrou, the business hotels in Marousi, the coastal properties around Glyfada, and the port hotels in Piraeus. Our guide to escort friendly hotels in Athens covers each district in detail.

Do you take card payment?

No. Payment is cash in euro at the start of the booking. There are cash machines in or beside every hotel we visit.

Can I book for a private apartment rather than a hotel?

Yes. Tell us the district, the entry arrangements and the floor when you book. See also our Athens incall apartment guide if you would prefer to travel instead.
